Saturday, April 6 of this year. “armed” with bags and gloves we have cleaned the forest area next to ul. Bałtowska in immediate vicinity of the property on which the new Elkom Trade facility is under construction.
A bike path runs along so the landfills are exceptionally clearly visible. The further we got into the forest, the more garbage… We have cleaned the total area of approx. 6000 m2 and utilised over 40 pieces of 120-litre bags with various types of waste: bottles, glass, rubber, clothes and even tiles.
Approximately 20 persons took part in this social action. They included Elkom Trade employees with families (including small children :)). There is a lot of such places within our region. We hope that measures organized by the board and employees of our company will encourage residents and guests in pour region to keep order and cleanliness.
